Following the letter to Dame Sally Davies, we have written to Peterborough & Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Darryl Preston regarding the decision by the police to drop the case against Palestine Action's vandalism of the Lord Balfour Portrait.

Our letter to the Master of Trinity College Cambridge, Dame Sally Davies. We are alarmed at the decision by Police to drop the case against Palestine Action activists who slashed a 1914 portrait of Lord Balfour. The Great British PAC is exploring a private prosecution.

A wonderful, thoughtful and thought-provoking speech which puts its author in a class above the ordinary parliamentarian of today. The emptiness of the chamber is, really, a metaphor for the moral and intellectual absence of today’s liberal ruling class.

Everyone dislikes people traffickers. But you know who I dislike even more? The human rights lawyers who go to Calais and hand out their numbers, sometimes on phones in waterproof pouches, for the illegals to call them on arrival. Once more. France. Is. A. Safe. Country.

The police now won’t prosecute this case, even though Palestine Action claimed responsibility, and even though the vandal filmed herself committing the crime. Britain used to be a uniquely orderly place, but this constant asymmetry in policing is destroying our social fabric.

Well done to the University Directors at the @GreatBritishPAC for bringing this to light.

A girl in Warwickshire was barred by her school from giving this brilliant speech on being proud to be British. I think that’s appalling. If she’d like to make her speech in Parliament instead, please let her and her family know I’d be very happy to host them.
