Cask ale sales really slow down during the summer & due to short shelf life we've been having to pour a fair bit away every week. We're going to attempt to sell it off instead and thus, for the foreseeable, we will be reducing the price to £3/pint on Wednesdays. @NLondonCAMRA

Tomorrow (26th) we have an out of branch social to Canterbury to visit some excellent pubs. Our plan is to meet at Bromley South at 10:10 in order to catch the 10:27 to Faversham, where we change trains.  Scheduled arrival at Canterbury East is at 11:42. All welcome to join us!

The Mother Red Cap pub has been a valued community asset in Junction Ward for many decades. Its sudden closure last March was worrying but the recent boarding up of the pub has only made those worries worse and residents fear its permanent loss to our area. (1/2)

The Salusbury pub in Queen’s Park NW6 has reopened after an extensive refurbishment. Same layout, right half for dining - full menu from 16 July. Left half and central bar - drinking area with a bar menu. Cask lines removed. Very busy on opening evenings.

Brilliant to see The Hare & Hounds #N1 (previously Jack’s Bar) has opened as a public house on Upper Street! Nice place. Popped in for a beer this afternoon, didn’t stay as only had 4 beers on tap! Private members club, The Dally, has closed (no planning permission) #newpubs

@selcamra Hi! I've been trying to put together a list of all the London CAMRA branch cider pubs of the year for 2025. I found the announcement for yours for 2024 (River Ale House) but couldn't find one for this year. Am I just looking in the wrong place?
