Attendance awards thoughts please. Free cinema 🎦 trip this week for children who had 100% attendance. Doesn’t sit right as surely some kids can’t help it if they are poorly and are told to stay off school.

Another incident of secondary schools doing tests with our pupils on supposedly helpful transition days to settle them in and take away anxiety. If I’d have known, I would have told them not to go.
✏️Lovely video from @PennWoodSchool in Slough – one of our Training Centres. Penn Wood is a 3 form entry school. 89% of children have English as an additional language & 37% receive Pupil Premium. 91% of the children reached the expected level in writing in the SATs using TfW.
