I had the wonderful Prof @Ebbabrak for my opponent, and I truly enjoyed the discussion with her! Thank you for this great experience, Ebba. I will never forget it! As well, thank you to my committee - Prof Maria Eriksson, Prof Willinger @WillingerLab and Marie Jeansson.

A bit more than a week ago, I defended my PhD thesis! It was a long and challenging but beautiful journey, which I had the pleasure of sharing with my great team from @makinenlab. I am deeply grateful to my supervisor, Taija, for her guidance and support during these years!
I'm so happy to see our new review about lymphatic malformations out with gorgeous pictures from @jclinicalinvest ! Thank you for the incredible work together, Taija @makinenlab and @FerbyIngvar!

Such a pleasure to work with this great team!
The 14 current members of @makinenlab come from around the world, representing 10 nationalities. Despite various cultural and scientific backgrounds, we share one common interest: lymphatic vessels. Allow us to present the faces behind the research.
Glowy! Another beauty from @hansschoofs using @RuiBenedito_'s treasures :)
We love seeing things glow in the dark! We use a variety of reporter lines expressing fluorescent proteins in lymphatic cells. This allows us to visualize things like cytoskeleton, cell morphology and lineage history. In particular we love the mosaic reporters from @RuiBenedito_
A great tool to get inspiration and new ideas about your favourite gene! Created by amazing @KraftMarle
We also love single-cell RNA sequencing. Have you checked our web applications to visualize the expression of your favorite gene in mouse dermal lymphatic endothelial cells tinyurl.com/nhe76bxv and human penile cavernous endothelial cells? tinyurl.com/4d9j93hx
Stay tuned for an exciting @makinenlab @EVB_Org week!
Our studies @makinenlab are focused on the lymphatic vasculature, which is essential for fluid homeostasis, immune cell trafficking and intestinal absorption of lipids - and increasingly recognized as a multifaceted regulator of various organ functions.
#EMBLCytometry was an intense week of science, practice and a lot of discussions and fun! I'm extremely grateful to our trainers for their tips and tricks, and answer to every question I had. I'm pleased that I met such wonderful people and had such a great experience!Thank you!
Thank you to all who joined #EMBLCytometry this week 🙌 It was 5 days of lectures and practicals that let the participants gain valuable insights, share expertise, and experience 🔬🧐 Don't miss out on any other events and subscribe to our newsletters: ➡️ embl.org/events/
Having the pleasure to be part of this amazing course, I'm so excited 😁 #EMBLCytometry
The EMBL Course 'Hands-on flow cytometry: learning by doing!' started today! 🧪🔬💪🏼 Here listening to the lecture on fluidics and optics by Gelo dela Cruz (Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Medicine – reNEW, Denmark) 🤓 #EMBLCytometry #FlowCytometry #FlowCyto
Sweet 16 years of amazing lymphatic research in @makinenlab! Thank you, Taija, for taking us to this lovely place to celebrate together! It was fun, heart-melting and inspiring! It was a pleasure to organize together with @SSchnabellehner ☀️

Exciting news from @makinenlab! Big congrats and all the luck in this great next step!
