Military.com News Guild
@MilNewsGuild
The @militarydotcom union. Our award-winning staff delivers impactful reporting critical for troops, vets & their families. We aim to continue that mission.
We are still hoping to hear from @Monster and that they will do the right thing and voluntarily recognize our union.
Two weeks ago, we sent our CEO Michael Reinstein this letter asking him to come to the table to negotiate directly with us. We received no response, so are releasing it publicly. We renew our call for direct negotiations with our CEO to produce a fair and equitable contract. 1/2

Labor Day is about celebrating American workers & unions. Every worker should be treated with dignity & properly compensated. @Monster's wages have not kept up with inflation, employees have seen effective cuts to pay despite greater demands. We look forward to a fair contract.
I and the other members of @SightlineUnion stand with our friends and colleagues at @MilNewsGuild. We have no doubt you'll win your election, and wish you well getting the fair and equitable treatment you deserve.
.@Monster has unfortunately declined to voluntarily recognize our union. In a message to staff, the company says it values the ability to work directly with its employees - of which it has not given raises or salary cost of living adjustments to - despite being constantly asked.
