Me too, amazing from England’s women 🏴🏴🏴🏆🏆🏆🏴🏴🏴🏆🏆🏆 #Lionesses
A welcome u-turn on this, utterly disgraceful it was considered in the first place but thanks to strong opposition from @Conservatives, the right decision has now been reached.
Fantastic news - Labour have u-turned, ditching their terrible plans to impose Inheritance Tax on ‘Death in Service’ payments for unmarried service personnel. Mark Francois & I repeatedly called on Ministers to think again, so this is very welcome. telegraph.co.uk/politics/2025/…
Out again speaking to local residents about issues affecting them across Southport. Lots of people concerned about what Labour are doing nationally and locally. Tell us what you think, we’ll leave the comments on unlike some other local parties.
Are the “tax experts” in the room with you now?
I've put down a parliamentary motion supporting the proposal from tax experts for a Wealth Tax. A 2% Wealth Tax on assets over £10 million would raise over £24 BILLION a year. That's the fairer alternative to cuts we need. Over 30 MPs have backed it so far!
Starmer claimed he’d smash the small boat gangs. But in his first year, less than 1% of small boat migrants were prosecuted for immigration offences. Another broken promise.
In so many ways, a morality tale about Keir Starmer.

The US has withdrawn its negotiating team from Qatar after Hamas yet again refused to cooperate during ceasefire talks. There are still 50 hostages remaining in Gaza, brutally taken from their homes on October 7th. The French Government’s decision to unilaterally recognise a…
We have decided to bring our team home from Doha for consultations after the latest response from Hamas, which clearly shows a lack of desire to reach a ceasefire in Gaza. While the mediators have made a great effort, Hamas does not appear to be coordinated or acting in good…
This is so utterly depressing on many levels

Many people voted Reform in the local elections on the promise of tax cuts. Now they admit that won't happen. Wonder when they'll admit they can't axe EDI roles that didn't exist - and won't 'stop the boats' from the council chamber and Mayoral offices too?
There are 1.3 million people on social housing waiting lists in England alone. But Keir Starmer believes there’s ‘lots of housing’ spare we should be giving to illegal migrants That’s madness. What is he going on about?
If Reform weren’t talking about cutting Council Tax on their LOCAL ELECTION leaflets, which taxes were they talking about? It’s almost as if they are talking rubbish 🤔
Absolute nonsense. Reform UK never made any promises re: Council Tax. We knew the mess we would inherit from the tories and made that position very clear. Spend more time worrying about why your sinking in the polls instead of writing nonsense. #Shambles
Oops, we accidentally liked this. Mike’s ‘team’
I call bullshit. You’ve spent the last 48 hours calling me a ‘traitor’ for not drawing attention to a leaked spreadsheet with our special forces and MI6 officers’ names on. But we’re meant to believe this tweet attacking me as a traitor for having a Jewish wife & family was…
Thank god the grown ups are back in charge
UK long-dated gilt yield 5.5%, a level not seen since 1998.
Labour doesn’t work 🥀
We’ve published the latest labour market figures. Commenting on today’s figures, ONS Director of Economic Statistics Liz McKeown said: (quote 1 of 2) Read the Labour market overview ➡ ons.gov.uk/employmentandl…
It’s only unexpected if you’ve been living on Mars for the last year, or you are a Labour MP who thinks that massive government borrowing, tax rises and trashing the economy won’t lead to bad economic outcomes.
