Retired Police Dogs Merseyside
@MerseysideRPD
RPD Merseyside was set up independently of Merseyside Police to raise funds to help with veterinary costs for those who re-home a retired dog. RETWEETS Welcome.
The Retired Police Dog Benevolent Fund for Merseyside is run by unpaid volunteers: All money raised is by public donations. This money goes towards helping those who have taken on a retired dog with any veterinary costs incurred. See below for more details.

We are keeping RPD Ben (& his owner) in our thoughts today after surgery to remove a malignant tumour from the roof of his mouth & upper jaw. Thanks to the team at @Medivet_UK Alder for their care for Ben & other @MerPolDogs RPDs 🙏 🎖🐕

Remembering PC William Marshall, of Merseyside Police, who died from injuries sustained on duty on this day in 1986 #LestWeForget
After reoccurring painful ear infection RPD Olly has had ear canal ablation surgery this week. Thanks to the team @Medivet_UK Alder. He is receiving lots of TLC at home. We wish him a speedy recovery. Supported by @MerseysideRPD @MerPolDogs

Our thoughts are with Tony & family on the recent passing of 11 year old RPD Timber, who was GPD with @MerPolDogs Timber retired early following cruciate ligament surgery. He was much loved and will be missed very much 💔
