Did you know cats can get frustrated, just like humans? Signs include: 😾 Moving their head or body away from you 😾 Approaching you, interacting, then quickly walking away 😾 Hissing, biting or swiping at you Always give your cat choice and control to prevent frustration.

On hot days, a fan can make a big difference in helping your cat stay cool! For extra breeze without the escape risk, try window or door netting so you can let the air in while keeping your curious cat safe inside. 😺
Dogs use body language to communicate. While all dogs are different, a relaxed dog will often: 🐶 Have a neutral, wagging tail 🐶 Have soft eyes 🐶 Cock their head in an interested way if you talk to them This usually means they are happy to interact with you!

Bunny was just 3 months old when she came to Battersea as a stray. She was shy at first, but with patience and time in a foster home, her playful side shone through. Now she’s loving life with her new family (and her ever-growing toy collection)! We're so happy for you, Bunny. 💙

Active cats can quickly become exhausted and dehydrated, so try to encourage a slower pace on hot days. Got a curious cat? Pop a couple of ice cubes on the floor for some cool, paws-on enrichment. 🧊🐾
Meet Hector. 😻 At six weeks old, he came to Battersea missing half a tail and half a leg. Our expert clinic team determined his leg needed to be amputated. Luckily, it didn't take long for him to adjust, and he was soon rehomed! He's now healthy and happy in his loving home. 💙
