Paul McCartney is coming to Denver in October. What if he was coming to town with a little help from his friends?

Arenado is hitting .240 and is still a HR threat. Put him in the LA batting order and his numbers would get even better. Plus, he’d make the Dodgers MUCH better defensively, which is their current major problem. Ask Kershaw if he’d like to add Nolan to their lineup…
Nolan can’t hit anymore.
Nolan Arenado >>>>>>> Max Muncy.
Unless, of course, they decide that Nolan’s K rate being significantly lower than Muncy’s matters more than the lost production. They won’t.
Wishing Ryan McMahon all the best, always great when it came to talking to the media in his nine seasons here. Stand-up guy, good times or bad.
Attention @VanSky_fam. Strikeouts are offensive killers, not double plays. Everyone who's played or coaches gets this. Just not the nerds forcing the in-game decisions.
If you are wondering why batting averages are down at the Major and Minor league levels, look no further than what is being taught throughout pretty much every organization. They teach their hitters to swing uphill, to try and get the ball in the air, and on the flip side they…
Nolan to the Dodgers makes the most sense. LA needs defense.
Not that Arenado to the #Yankees was likely (it wasn’t) but this certainly would reduce that possibility even further. #STLCards #ForTheLou
The Rockies are getting back pithers Griffin Hering and Josh Grosz
Provided he makes more consistent contact. Strikeouts stink.
I I expect that his swing will play well in Yankee Stadium
This is a great move for RyMac who deserves a chance to win. Hopefully the first of several moves by the Rockies.
The Yankees are reportedly acquiring 3B Ryan McMahon from the Colorado Rockies.
Pay attention to the little things that contribute to something greater.

No one can hit a sac fly with a runner on first. The only way to sacrifice is a bunt…and that also brings with it the chance for a hit or a misplay. Nothing positive ever comes from a strikeout. Nothing.
I get it, especially if you’re talking about the teams that you coach. But when I’m watching a MLB team, say the Dodgers, and there’s a man on 1st, what I want , in order of preference, is a hit, a sac fly or a strike out. The last thing I want is a double play ball.
The “all outs are created equal” nonsense is why scoring is down in MLB. Put the ball in play and something good could happen. DP’s are part of the game.

When my team is in the field with a man on first, the #1 thing I want to see is the other team’s batter strike out. 👏👏👏
I think if that were really the case, you would see sac bunt attempts. There must be a reason there aren’t.
As a Dodger fan, you should know well that putting any kind of pressure on the defense is a very good idea if winning is the objective over piling up “war” stats.

Analytics has its place, but the “all outs are created equal” crap is the single worst notion to come out of the nerd basements. @GreggOlson30 @Rockymtnrejects
You know who loves sacrifice bunts? The opposing team.
Trust me. Opposing coaches love seeing strikeouts more than sac bunts.

Then bunt if you’re afraid of the DP. Striking out is the worst thing a hitter can do.
There are times when a strikeout is the worst possible outcome, but the majority of the time a strike out is no worse than any other out and a strikeout is always better than a double play.
