"He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." -- 2 Cor. 5:21 Each and every one of us was born in a state of enmity with God. But He made a way of reconciliation: youtu.be/OGo9Y1SeOtU?t=…

Ichiro changed the landscape of baseball on two continents. And even as he goes into the Hall of Fame, he's far from finished impacting the game. "By no means is this the mountaintop." More from Ichiro on the path to this point, as well as the future: mlb.com/news/featured/…
Ichiro's elite skills benefitted from his personal drive to excel. While I was with the @Mariners, I marveled at his extraordonary preparation and instincts. What fun it was to watch him play throughout his career.
On Ichiro's @BaseballHall #Induction day, congratulations to Ted Heid and Jim Colborn, two then-@Mariners staffers who identified #51's talent and brilliantly won the posting. Few big league teams were on Ichiro at the time, and the M's were all over it. 🇯🇵⚾️
Today, Shohei Ohtani is considered by many to be the best baseball player in the world. But 25 years ago, the idea that a Japanese player from NPB would be the best on the planet was preposterous to many in the baseball world. Then came Ichiro: mlb.com/news/featured/…
TIL George Kirby has never walked more than three batters in any start of his career. Tonight is his 101st start.
The Year of Cal Raleigh continues
Cal Raleigh’s 40 home runs tie 1961 Mickey Mantle for most by a switch-hitter in his team’s first 105 games of a season
Great stuff, Manny. Out in: BAL, BOS, CHC, LAD, MIL, NYM. Storytime. In Gehrig's four-homer game on June 3, 1932, Al Simmons robbed him of a potential homer in deep center field in the top of the 9th. Would've been #5. Lip Pike had a five-homer game in 1866, pre-professionally.
This is how close Kurtz came to the first five-homer game in MLB history tonight. I think the '1POINTFIVE' sign is for how many feet short of a homer that ball came.

And each of the homers came against a different pitcher
Nick Kurtz joins Shawn Green (5/23/2002) as the only players since at least 1900 with a six-hit game including four homers. Absolutely incredible.
Most extra-base hits in first 66 career games, at least last 125 seasons: Joe DiMaggio: 48 Nick Kurtz: 43 Ted Williams: 42 Bob Meusel: 42 Yordan Alvarez: 41 Ryan Braun: 41
Nick Kurtz upped his slugging percentage on the season by 64 points tonight. He had already been at .622.
Kids don't fantasize about 6-for-6, 4-homer games when they're playing in the back yard. Too absurd.
Congratulations Mr. Kurtz! Welcome to the 4 homer club brother!! What a way to start your career! ✊🏿💪🏿 @MLB @Athletics
He also had a double that was inches from going out. It would have been the first 5-homer game in MLB history.
THE 20TH FOUR-HOMER GAME IN MLB HISTORY BELONGS TO NICK KURTZ!
