True. I had never heard of him but when I did, I questioned the glaring double standard. I haven’t figured out the true reason behind the cancellations so naturally I am even more curious. Trying to take someone’s platform away by giving them one bigger is an odd move.
They made him more famous. With CBC’s holy war against American Christian singer Sean Feucht they gave him a bigger audience in this country. torontosun.com/opinion/column…
I loved working with Bono, true character and an old school communicator and journalist. My family and I respected him so much. The world was richer for his enormous contributions.

As always @erinotoole rationally points out the obvious. Most of us care little about this singer, but fiercely want to uphold Canada’s values which are rooted in our Charter and defined by peace, order and good governance.
These public pressure led decisions appear to conflict with the Charter. Free speech and religious freedom in a democracy means you will hear things you do not agree with. Cancelling such voices is wrong and drives polarization. cbc.ca/news/canada/ot…
I woke up this Sunday morning in Ottawa’s west end. Happy to report Ottawa is still here and that the singing Christian’s did not steal it. What a relief.

He has a kind of point.
On the Right: Adil Charkaoui. Frequent public speaker in Montreal, known for saying things like “Kill the Zionist aggressors” and praising Islamist terrorists as the good guys. Montreal has no issue with him. On the Left: Sean Feucht, a Christian singer who sings about love and…
I’m having a moment. Hands down best leader Canada has had in my lifetime. Saturday, July 26, 2025 is the time stamp. Thank you, @grok !
Stephen Harper.
Was tempted….now in. Hey @grok who is the most famous person to view my profile? Just give me a name.
Now do Mark Carney. Jagmeet Singh. Justin Trudeau. Etc. Etc. Yawn.
If Pierre Poilievre isn’t happy about having 200 names on the ballot maybe there should be a rule that you can’t run in a riding where you don’t actually live. Problem solved.
Imagine if they honked their horns instead of just banging their pots?
The Hamas simps of Ottawa gather outside of the Israeli embassy to make noise with their pots & pans. Common sense logic would indicate many who watched from the inside had a good laugh.
Let’s just give him a work permit and maybe let him protest a Christian music festival at a church in Montreal or Toronto.
Tunisian foreign exchange student Mohamed Karaa is seen here protesting outside of the US Consulate. Mohamed Karaa is not a Canadian citizen & constantly participates in disruptions along with his support for terrorism. Do you think Mohamed should be deported?
Alberta might not be heaven, but you can see it from there.
Anti-Jew hatred spewed by an elite lawyer who knows the law yet abused it because he thinks he is above it.

I remember @AndrewLawton’s dark period. He was courageous to fight the black dog and now he is doing what so few in public life have ever done by lifting the curtain to share his own lived expertise. He does so without a care to political cost. He earns compassion and respect.
I almost died by suicide fifteen years ago while battling depression. If the expansion of MAID coming into force in 2027 were in place then, I'd likely be dead right now. Today, I'm launching the #IGotBetter campaign to keep hope alive for people living with mental illness.
It’s reassuring to see David Wallace (aka David Pacho) finally facing scrutiny for conduct that, until now, has somehow escaped meaningful attention—despite a troubling history.
Here’s how this works. You tell them that they need to cut and that they need to decide what. They suggest something that tugs at heart strings (ie French language services, youth programs, etc). Then they get a spending hike. Simple really, like dealing with a teen.

I am deeply concerned, angry and frustrated with the findings of a recent report on antisemitism in Ontario schools. Schools must be a safe place for every student to learn in a respectful and supportive environment. I expect school boards across the province to focus on…
I said this on April 25 and it holds on Jul 16. The sexism @Jenni_Byrne deals with is on a whole different level.
.@Jenni_Byrne has been a close friend of mine for 20+ years. She’s unflappable in the face of misogyny she deals with everyday, she is the only Canadian woman to win a majority government & she’s tough BUT loyal.
Safety of politicians must become a national priority. If it does not, our national security, our national interests and our democracy are at risk.

At OCDSB the school with the largest Jewish population (Sir Robert Borden) is where the Palestinian Protest anthem played at a Remembrance Service. The school shares its property with the board. While MPP (and mom of a student there) antisemitism at the school was consistent.
The demographics are relevant. "Nearly three-quarters of the reported [antisemitic attacks on school children] took place in the Toronto District School Board, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and the York Region District School Board." #onpoli theglobeandmail.com/politics/artic…
