True. I had never heard of him but when I did, I questioned the glaring double standard. I haven’t figured out the true reason behind the cancellations so naturally I am even more curious. Trying to take someone’s platform away by giving them one bigger is an odd move.

I loved working with Bono, true character and an old school communicator and journalist. My family and I respected him so much. The world was richer for his enormous contributions.

As always @erinotoole rationally points out the obvious. Most of us care little about this singer, but fiercely want to uphold Canada’s values which are rooted in our Charter and defined by peace, order and good governance.

I woke up this Sunday morning in Ottawa’s west end. Happy to report Ottawa is still here and that the singing Christian’s did not steal it. What a relief.

Safety of politicians must become a national priority. If it does not, our national security, our national interests and our democracy are at risk.

At OCDSB the school with the largest Jewish population (Sir Robert Borden) is where the Palestinian Protest anthem played at a Remembrance Service. The school shares its property with the board. While MPP (and mom of a student there) antisemitism at the school was consistent.
