Lich and Barber sentencing will take place this week. There’s no question it was serious, and they have spent three years showing the opposite of remorse for what they did to the people of Ottawa, but an 8 year sentence is ridiculous. IMO no custody for Lich; 6 months for Barber.
The Crown is seeking a 7 year sentence for Tamara Lich and 8 years for Chris Barber. This proves that for Crown Attorney Dallas Mack and his office, this is a highly politicized prosecution of Freedom Convoy organizers. torontosun.com/opinion/column…
