Henryk Cybulski, a Polish civil servant, was arrested by the Germans in November 1939 during the Intelligenzaktion Litzmannstadt, which targeted the intelligentsia in occupied Łódź. Days later, he was executed. His remains were found in 2018 and later identified by the IPN.

Remembering Sergeant Barry Keen, 14 Signal Regiment Royal Signals, killed in a mortar attack, Helmand Province, Afghanistan on the 27th July 2007 aged 34. Barry was from Rowlands Gill, Gateshead. #Afghanistan

Lost his life this day 27th July 1940. F.Lt. Philip Anthony Neville Cox…of Brighton. One of THE FEW. bbm.org.uk/airmen/CoxPAN.… In combat over Dover Harbour he was shot down in his Hurricane and reported ‘Missing’. Age 25. His younger brother was killed 1944.

Finally made it to visit Alan Jensen Bardach today. 🇺🇸 Buried at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, in the Field of Valor, section 213, GPS (39.827059, -86.175132). Cleaned his marker and placed a fresh flag (July 26, 2025). RIP Alan, glad you made it home.
