The line in the Democratic Party right now is not between progressives and moderates — it’s between fighters and folders. @ZohranKMamdani is a fighter, and I’m urging my fellow Democratic leaders to join me in helping him win in November.

“Only when verbal assaults on Black women in the public become too egregious to ignore that we are forced to confront the harsh reality that society often expects Black women to be seen & not heard, especially if they stand unapologetically in their power” wordinblack.com/2024/05/the-en…
If I found myself in an argument, looked around and saw that everyone on my side was mostly white men and that the other side was mostly Black women, I really hope I’d sit my ass down, take several beats, and do some reflecting.
If I wanted “good governance”, I would not *also* donate over $100k to actual fucking fascists in the year 2025.
It’s all unserious bullshit until we End Citizens United. In the meantime, maybe let’s not blame individual Black candidates for a rigged system built on white supremacy, greed, and corruption.
How are we holding the system responsible when we’re scolding Black women electeds for doing what their white counterparts are doing? What alternatives are we offering to help Black women raise funds w/o huge private interest $? I’m disappointed in the white men that engaged.
If you’re able, please send some support and supplies to the reputable, good folks on the ground after the flooding in Dante, VA.
.@RepSuhas voted with Republicans to allow ICE to use racial profiling and detain undocumented immigrants regardless of whether or not they committed a crime. Advocates also warned that the bill would grossly violate 4th amendment rights for detainees. He voted for it anyway
Oh lol
The Democratic Primary did not go the way I had hoped either. 🤷🏻♂️ But unlike Andrew Cuomo, I’m capable of listening to New Yorkers. (Also, I like to think I got a little better at making videos as the campaign progressed) Help @ZohranKMamdani crush Andrew Cuomo a second time:…
In it to win it.
I don't think people realize how hyper militarized things are about to get here giving ice this massive expansion in funds and free reign I'm Sick just thinking about it

Many Democratic Party establishment figures are scared that Mamdani is the future of the party, and that is one of the most important reasons to support him.
What if we hire the people who lost us the last election and then they hire all their friends they lost the last election with and then give them immense power over a bunch of young idealists who don’t know what a healthy workplace looks like. Nothing could go wrong
Cool, no idea why there is a resentment towards urbanites in rural areas. No idea at all.
They don’t target legislators if the legislative system is already captured. They don’t target protests if the protestors aren’t a threat. Defeatism is counter revolutionary. Lock the fuck in.
