Yet again, Republicans are doing Trump’s bidding, trying to gut funding for public broadcasting that the President & Congress agreed to provide. This would be devastating, especially to rural communities, many of whom rely solely on these stations for emergency warnings & news.

Some people think our country’s health problems come down to a lack of awareness about nutrition and wellness. But the reality is far more urgent — and far more systemic. The real drivers of health inequity aren’t about whether someone knows quinoa is healthier than fries.…

Maybe cutting PBS and getting our kids hooked on brainrot TV is part of the Republican plan. After all, if our kids watch PBS, they might learn to count! And if our kids learn to count, how will Republicans ever convince anyone that trillions of dollars in tax cuts are free?

One in four nursing homes have said they’ll close facilities because of the “Big, Beautiful Bill” – and they passed it anyway.   Talk to, essentially, ANY families who have moved someone into long term care recently. There’s not exactly a surplus of facilities around today…
