Making Minnesota the best state to live means helping entrepreneurs put their ideas into action.   I joined small business owners in manufacturing, health care, and clean technology to announce $33 million to support hundreds of small businesses in Minnesota.

As search and recovery missions continue in Texas, I’m incredibly grateful to our Minnesota Task Force 1 K-9 Unit for stepping up and traveling to assist our neighbors in this time of tragedy. We know their heroic work will make a difference.

Minnesota is keeping Texas close in our hearts as devastating flooding continues. We stand ready to help our neighbors down south in any way we can as communities begin the long road to recovery.

Gwen and I are sending our love to the family and friends of Senator Bruce Anderson. A veteran himself, he was a steadfast advocate for those who served our nation and he will be missed in the Senate chamber.

Thanks for your patience, Minnesota. The Stone Arch Bridge is officially open and ready for the next 150 years.

The devastation in Texas is heartbreaking. My heart is with those who have lost a loved one, especially those experiencing the loss of a child. Minnesota stands with Texas and our administration has been in contact with officials on the ground to offer any help we can.

I just signed an executive order ensuring veterans in Beltrami County receive disaster relief payments as communities up north recover from severe storms. Our veterans stood up for us, now we stand up for them.

Tl;dr: 250,000 more Minnesotans at risk of devastating medical bills, higher energy prices, rural hospital closures, and longer ambulance wait times. None of this is worth a tax cut for billionaires. Congress needs to reject this bill.
