I write "long-form math" books. A few years ago I thought of the phrase "Long-Form Merch" and thought, "well, now I have to do it." I'll add more over time, but in case you want some fun math-based merch, you can check it out my Etsy store here: etsy.com/shop/LongFormM…

I plan to make lecture videos on my textbooks, starting with my Proofs one, which I’ll post to YouTube. If you have any thoughts or suggestions on any part of this project, let me know! Could be content, style, logistics, presentation, recording tools, editing software, etc

Another fun fact: While Napoleon was on Elba, Bertrand Russel’s grandfather visited him. His grandfather would later become Prime Minister of the UK.
apparently while napoleon was on elba he effectuated a series of economic and administrative reforms that were so effective, the island’s GDP & quality of life nearly doubled in 10 months. as a result almost every able bodied male on the island joined his army
My live reaction to reading the appendix contents of @LongFormMath 's new Math History textbook. This is gonna be the perfect summer read.
Work outdoors and maybe a hummingbird will crash the party
I was lucky to see an early draft of this book, and I highly recommend it. The book makes math less mysterious and more accessible, making famous mathematicians more human. You might also learn some new math along the way. Overall, it’s a great book at Jay’s affordable pricing.
