In a recent NYT column, @stevenstrogatz explained how Leibniz found the infinite sum of the reciprocals of the triangular numbers, so I was curious as to how that generalised to “simplicial numbers”. The triangular numbers are T(n) = 1 + 2 + 3 + … + n = n(n+1)/2
