Raising awareness for #LongCovid and the need for treatment. I suffered heart, lung & eye damage from a 2020 Covid infection. 🦋 http://damesa.bsky.social
I have organ damage from #Covid19. People be like: It’s vaccines! I had #Covid in March 2020. Pre-vaccines. You were old or unhealthy! I was 39, fit & healthy, with no underlying conditions. It’s rare! Over 100 million worldwide. That we know about. So far. #LongCovid #health
well, @BMA_NIRDC @BMA_NI @healthdpt @publichealthni @niexecutive and @niassembly why are schools still without mitigations/IPC given to parliamentary & govt depts but not children? When airborne infections are risk. @GAHargan @SJAMcBride @TheCanaryUK
Why did @bmj_latest stop asking questions about rising child deaths in the UK? No lockdown for over 4 yrs. Schools had minimal measures in 2020 - nothing after. Primary schools never had masks. The vast majority of UK kids have never had a covid vaccine. So, what’s left? 🤔
If Neil Stone really is pro vaccine, he might want to consider campaigning for everyone to have the right to a Covid vaccine in the UK, and also for people to have the choice, such as Novavax. Otherwise, it just sounds like health privilege… 😬
I'm so pro vaccine I might get a vaccine today that I don't need, just for the fun of it
There is *loads* of shingles, appendicitis, strokes, vascular problems, high blood pressure, and breathing problems here in the wake of the most recent covid infections. Mostly needing hospital treatment.
Remember this; @jeremycorbyn and @zarahsultana had to create a left-wing party because Labour stopped being one.
Something that I am noticing more & more is that disabled people will never talk about how bad things truly are… whilst non-disabled people will almost always seem to have something wrong with them & let the whole world know. Yet disabled folk are the ones blamed for “moaning”
Disability is not a moral failing It’s not something a person chooses, nor can they “try harder” out of it Most of us will experience disability You can be born disabled. It can happen suddenly due to accident or illness. It can be the result of aging It’s a part of life
Doctors DON’T have a final salary pension Doctors DON’T get their exams paid for Doctors DON’T get overtime Doctors DON’T get their equipment paid for Doctors DO pay for their own training Doctors DO pay for their own stationary Doctors DO earn less now than 2008 in real terms
Especially considering the fact that people, when asked if they believe *anything* governments or politicians say, laugh at you like "WTF ofc NO!". But when it comes to short term self serving lies they buy the most ridiculous shit like immunity debt and mild Covid bla. Find out.
It still blows my mind that most people genuinely think the pandemic ended just because all the governments said it did. Capitalism over lives. I’ve always been cynical, but this is ridiculous levels of wishful thinking and compliance. Real life “Don’t Look Up” mentality.
I didn’t vote for this Tory lite Labour government! Who the fuck are they? The whole cabinet needs to improve their communication skills
Peter Kyle says resident doctors who are striking should be grateful for being paid £17.50 an hour Which is less that my cleaner chargers per hour Btw, The 28.9% pay rise he refers to is still below their 2008 salary in real terms Shame on Labour pitting the public against…
It's been growing and growing but I think the "there's no way you can have avoided covid infection" crowd is finally finding its voice and its moment. May I just say to all of you who believe that... **you are wrong**
Are you sure it's nothing? Getting COVID over and over again isn’t just inconvenient — it can have real, lasting consequences. Even mild or symptom-free infections can silently cause damage to your heart, lungs, brain, and immune system. Over time, repeated infections increase…
I’ve been very critical of the UK government recently. Covid, healthcare, disability cuts, SEND, etc. Now my posts are heavily suppressed. I’m struggling for visibility. Anyone else seeing the same? But I probably won’t know because you probably won’t see this! 🤣🥴
If you are looking for "the truth", here it is: If you are willingly catching preventable infections, you are walking off the cliff. You are volunteering for culling.
Governments said that: Covid isn’t airborne ❌ Vaccines stop transmission ❌ Breakthrough infections unlikely ❌ “Only” the old & vulnerable died ❌ Long Covid is rare ❌ LIES. But why? Simple. Because consumerism is more important than people’s lives. #FollowtheMoney
