🗞️Excited to share our latest preprint on the shared genetics of common epilepsies and general cognitive ability (COG). doi.org/10.1101/2024.0… 🧬We showed almost complete overlap between common epilepsies and COG, and identified 66 distinct loci shared between these phenotypes.
With @danilobzdok, we leveraged rare genetic mutations (#CNVs) to revisit structural brain #asymmetry. Planum temporale emerged as especially susceptible to deletions & duplications of specific gene sets. nature.com/articles/s4146…
