When coachable players are held accountable, they understand it's for the good of the team and seek to learn from the situation. Uncoachable players think they're being picked on and play the blame game when held accountable.
Opportunities come from people who believe in you—often before you believe in yourself. Invest in those relationships daily.
Significance comes when you add value to others.

Being coachable means you're willing to consider feedback even if you don't like what you hear. It means resisting the urge to make excuses or get defensive when challenged. Getting better is more important than your ego. You'd rather get it right than be right.
It never ceases to amaze me how much of winning basketball simply comes down to playing harder and having more “want to” than the opposition. This is true during games, in the weight room, during skill work, at practice, in the off season. The competition never really ends.
What does "pass up a good shot for a great one" mean? - a "one more" to a better shooter than you - reverse pivot instead of forcing a contested finish inside - aggressive patience on offense - know who you are, who your teammates are, what is the higher % play...go do that
