In Feb. 2022, I started submitting FOIA requests to the @SpaceForceDoD for their Delta command climate surveys between Jan. 2020 to to Feb. 2022. Today, I just received my first batch. Reading through the anonymous comments, I saw this one. Not a bad idea.

No, no, listen–it's fine that we learned from a passenger on TikTok that a Defense Department B-52 bomber almost collided with a Delta commercial flight full of civilians because DoD and FAA both fucked it up. It's fine!
"This is not normal at all": A pilot flying a Delta Air Lines regional jet on Friday apologized to his passengers after making an “aggressive maneuver” to avoid a mid-air collision with a U.S. Air Force B-52 bomber. cbsn.ws/4f06mL1
Former Rep. George Santos beings his prison sentence next week. FEC filings show he’s leaving behind a campaign committee that’s out of compliance with the FEC and thousands in debt to former staff and others. @NOTUSreports notus.org/congress/georg…

New: While a Rules Committee meeting has been set for 6 p.m. Thursday, that’s no guarantee Republicans will move forward immediately. If the hearing goes smoothly, Republicans could get the House onto the rescission bill by late Thursday night. If it doesn’t, the next 30 hours…
Plenty of Republicans are fed up with Freedom Caucus antics. But the HFC is bullish there’s a method to their madness. “The only way to get things in this town is to demand the moon and then take somewhere in between,” Chip Roy told me. notus.org/congress/house…
A really interesting story about the frustration Republicans are feeling toward the Freedom Caucus. As Rep. Derrick Van Orden said, the group is "not becoming frustrating; it’s been frustrating for the last two-plus years." notus.org/congress/house…
One of the few powers left...
👀House Appropriations Chair Tom Cole appears to have a new plaque below his nameplate emphasizing Congress' power of the purse. Second photo is from a recent markup; the plaque was not there. Comes hours ahead of House vote on White House's requested funding rescissions.
MURKOWSKI says she is offended by Russ Vought’s comments this morning that approps should be less bipartisan. “I’m going to take that as a personal challenge,” she said.
"I'm super offended. I'm not frustrated," Murkowski says. "Apparently that's the word you're supposed to use when you're talking to me. Murkowski's always frustrated about everything."
Cole exits the Speaker's office sounding more than a little peeved. "We're going to wait for a while longer, and if we don't hear anything, then we're headed home" Are we going back to rules tonight? "I'm doing whatever my leadership wants me to do."
Reps. Cole (R-Okla), Diaz Balart (R-Fla) and Calvert (R-Calif) just entered the Speakers office. All are on the House Appropriations Committee Cole told reporters he would like to see the defense approps move separately...
The defense appropriations bill was originally supposed to pass today. Instead, the second procedural vote to just bring the bill to the floor has been open for 8+ hours.
Freedom Caucus chair Rep. Andy Harris R-MD goes to the House floor a few minutes ago and changed his vote on the rule from Yes to No. Now up to 10 GOP Nays.
This is now the longest vote in House history at more than 7 hours, 20-plus minutes. Congratulations to everyone for pulling together & breaking the record!!!
