In January 2024, the Watford Employment Tribunal handed down the judgment in my case against The Open University. I won. This is what they made of the academics’ attempts to defend their harassment against me:

BREAKING: Excellent news from @SarahSurviving @SurvivorsnetBtn will provide single-sex rape crisis support. Of course there should have been no question here. it should not have taken an individual woman to have to bring this case against them for the past 3 years.

This is a safeguarding disaster. Any school staff that distribute these badges to children - encouraging them to accompany adults to the toilet on request- need to be reported to the school’s designated safeguarding lead and the local authority’s child protection department.
A 'non-binary' BBC presenter has launched a project in which she distributes badges, saying 'Safe With Me', in schools, for children to wear in public places. They will signify to any 'trans people' nearby that the child will escort them to a toilet swlondoner.co.uk/news/23072025-…

I heard this and it was rather longer than this suggests. This was a substantial intervention by Jane Russell referring to the May 2025 edition of what she referred to as the Equal Treatment Bench Book (it turned out to be the England and Wales Bench Book). She repeated her claim

One of the points usefully clarified in yesterday's hearing for @McBrideVersus is that comments in his original judgment which might be read as deeming gender ID ideology a protected belief should not be read that way. Only absence of GC belief is protected, not the GI credo.
