I haven’t missed a single vote today on the Senate floor—killing every Republican attempt to gut the Blueprint and defund public hospitals. I’m standing up for Maryland’s schools, hospitals, and working families. Red Vote all the way! #Working4Maryland
I just voted to oppose this amendment. Cuts must be made this year, but not on the backs of the most vulnerable in the state.
NOW: House Republicans are pushing an amendment to the state budget that would rip health care away from vulnerable Marylanders, including kids — at a time when Trump’s White House is cutting access to health care in the state. This is not responsible governing.
WE NEED A NEW GENERATION OF DEMOCRATIC LEADERS.
R’s are using fear mongering while we use data & proven measures - the Second Look Act does not guarantee release of any individual. It allows a person to request a review of their sentence by the courts AFTER 20 YEARS. These measures are the law in states like CA, OK, CO, NY.

We’re starting debate on the Second Look Act, which will safeguard public safety and make our system more fair. It addresses sentencing disparities by allowing individuals convicted between 18-25 yo to request a review of their sentence only after serving 20 years.
BREAKING: I just joined House Democrats in voting for the Protect Our Federal Workers Act. This bill will provide $10 million in financial assistance to federal workers and give our AG funding to sue the Trump administration to protect federal workers against DOGE mass firings.
