My first (long overdue) showreel for prospective employers. jlhomnimedia.com
If you want to get a sense of the depth of "on demand" jaw dropping knowledge of Disney, watch @TomKMorris telling his JC stories (and me being a brat.) youtube.com/watch?v=c22mep…
Literally ALL of my opinions are unpopular.... For at least 5 years and then the world finally comes around to my point of view, but not without a cost. Like you two wonderful guys, @KonstantinKisin & @francisjfoster I too am "cursed" (?) with being a 21st-Century Kassandra.
What’s an unpopular opinion you believe is genuinely true?
Tomorrowland Circa 1967 Perhaps we would be a little more optimistic if all Disney lands still allowed you to enter the world of Tomorrow instead of just Yesterday and Fantasy.
Agreed we would be more optimistic. In order to present the future the company needs to have vision, and the current leadership lacks this. Pushing IP slop randomly is not vision - but they think it is.

Right you are, sir. :-/ Adventureland —> Tropical Fantasyland Frontierland —> Western Fantasyland Fantasyland —> European Fantasyland Tomorrowland —> Techno Fantasyland
Well pretty soon we won’t be able to enter Yesterday either. It’ll just be Fantasy,
I guess Disney has decided for me which area to cover next in the Studios Soundtrack Series 😉
An archivist's work is never done. 🙄 Here are a few rare(-ish) publicity photos from the opening of MuppetVision 3D — just recently sent to me for restoration and enhancement.😊💚

I may get sentimental over old WDW elements, but here are two I was happy to see leave. Though, it’s nice to hear a more reasonably scaled hat will go over to Animation Courtyard.
As much as I think this newly-on-sale tote bag is very cool - I rather have the original, physical #DisneyStore back - Please and Thank you.🙏
Quick plug for @EpcotLegacy’s Disney-MGM Studios Soundtrack Series. When it’s time to hunker down and get to work, there’s no better music.
Happy 31st Anniversary to the glamorous Hollywood Tower Hotel! Be sure to "drop in" and listen to the hotel's atmosphere featuring JLH Omni restorations of all its Jazz Age classics, with high dynamic range and, for the first time in over 85 years, Stereophonic Sound!
STOP DESTROYING WDW HISTORY. There is no reason to get rid of the arch—it makes perfect sense as an entrance to the redesigned area.
I pray the @TWDCArchives will not only "Red Tag" these magnificent bas-reliefs, but also find a new home for them somewhere at the Studios so guests can continue enjoying them.

nice to see animation return. let’s see The Great Movie Ride return next
NEW: In 2026, the current home of Star Wars: Launch Bay at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will transform ” a place where kids and kids at heart can laugh, draw, dream, and explore animated new experiences. “The Magic of Disney Animation” opens next year.
It’s a water ride, and it has a lot of costly to maintain animatronics. While I haven’t heard this particular rumor I put nothing past these folks running things. As I’ve said before, nothing is unthinkable to this group. It’s possible, but improbable.
I really don’t think Disney could be stupid enough to get rid of Pirates of the Caribbean. Do you think they would?
