To recap: ‘The Monorail Song’: - This is the song I attached to the quoted tweet - Was composed by Buddy Baker, presumably sometime in the 60s for montage of the Monorail on the Disneyland TV show* - Was featured on the Disneyland Peoplemover and the WEDWay (WDW) Peoplemover,…
Ok so we all know “Nation on Wheels”, a piece composed by George Bruns that was originally used for “Magic Highway, U.S.A.” (1959) before its longtime association with both the Disneyland Monorail and the Peoplemover. But what is this song? It’s also associated with both the…
To elaborate on this, the best pre-showe/queues are the ones that set the tone for the attraction. They may feature some light storytelling, but it only seeks to enhance the experience. If for whatever reason you miss it (Fastpass, accessibility entrance, or just not paying…

It's such a shame the general public appears to be so disinterested in attraction preshows these days because they're so much fun.
What is with the obsession over Spider-Bots? I don’t get it.
FIRST LOOK: Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots have been installed on the stern of the Disney Destiny cruise ship.
Ugh.
Just walked out of Fantastic 4 and yeah there’s definitely something planned for Tomorrowland.

Nintendo denied Universal’s requests to use K. Rool in the Donkey Kong Country area of Super Nintendo World, according to this game designer who’s done theme park collaboration with Universal Creative. Caveat of this being a several-year-old decision aside…what the actual hell?
Tomorrowland Circa 1967 Perhaps we would be a little more optimistic if all Disney lands still allowed you to enter the world of Tomorrow instead of just Yesterday and Fantasy.
How great would it be to see all of these buildings/studios physically represented at DHS?
‘ONCE UPON A STUDIO’ combines live-action, 2D animation and 3DCG animation. The production of the hand-drawn elements, led by Eric Goldberg, brought back legendary artists to the studio. 👀 Additionally, FORTY voice actors were also brought back to the studio.
Oh look, two new houseguests!

This is exactly what they should be adding to the upcoming Walt Disney Studios Courtyard land at DHS!
Sketches by Ward Kimball for an unrealized attraction for The #MagicKingdom & #Disneyland. The attraction would take the audience through a behind-the-scenes tour of the cartoon-making process and was to be called Mickey's Madhouse, Mickey's Movieland, or Mickey's Studio Tour.
I will say, it’s kind of sad that it took a short released 6 years after Launch Bay’s useful life to “inspire them” to do something with the area. They really can’t do ANYTHING at these parks unless there’s some relatively recent piece of screen based media to theme it after.
"The Magic of Disney Animation" at Disney's Hollywood Studios is inspired by ONCE UPON A STUDIO.
