It appears the Belfast Telegraph may have entirely lost the plot in the last couple of weeks. The editor needs to get a grip on his staff. Very poor couple of weeks of journalism

Keeping the home crowds happy. Darren Clarke with a moment of magic.
Record crowds. Massive viewership. Unmatched engagement. The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush was one for the history books.
Pride is imploding across the UK as reality slowly dawns on public bodies. Asking organisations to endorse its campaign for the medicalisation of kids who don’t conform to gender stereotypes - against medical advice - is crazy, and has been its undoing. But it won’t stop.
Nolan Exclusive : The Nolan Show understands that HSC bodies received legal counsel that they should not be seen to be participating in a Belfast Pride protest against departmental policy .
Why is the Government hiding who sits on a Windsor Framework working group? It shapes key advice on public policy. There is no transparency, no accountability. The public has a right to know. Secrecy erodes trust.

I genuinely don’t see the issue here. As part of the United Kingdom, we regularly request assistance from police forces across the country for events and public order. Supporting Police Scotland is a sensible act of good faith and reflects mutual aid commitments.
A “number of officers” from the PSNI will travel to Scotland this week to assist police there during Donald Trump’s visit to the country. ➡️belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/politics/…
The full copy of former PSNI officer Sean’s email to Claire Hanna MP over a month ago. I understand it has not been acknowledged. Such a correspondence demands a response and a public statement about the SDLP’s hasty denigration of PSNI culture.
1. I’ll answer this question as SDLP won’t. They did engage with the ex officer known as Sean before their call for a fundamental culture review of PSNI. Sean told Alex Atwood the falsehoods he told the Belfast Telegraph. The SDLP ought to have admitted this after he was exposed.
The Tories will never leave the ECHR. What they will do is a review, a paper, a review of the paper, a committee, a panel, a review of the panel. But they will never leave.

Cummings comes out swinging against Kemi's reshuffle and points out Tory Spads who support Stonewall are in charge of Kemi's operation. Conservative special advisors have been some of the most Left-wing activists in the party.
Great appointments by Kemi I hate my Nigerian tribal rivals Badenoch. Cleverley the last great defender of the Boris-Carrie wave, proud defender of giving soldiers' houses to Afghans, one of the architects (with Boris) of the disgraceful giveaway of Chagos, opponent of house…
A sensational few days at Royal Portrush for The Open with friends and family. A stellar event showcasing this great wee part of the world, with thousands of tourists seeing Northern Ireland at its very best. Wonderful performance by Scottie Scheffler.
