Bubba trying to hold back tears while on the post race stage is something resonates with me as a core race fan. Its so nice to see a driver truly wanting and caring enough to really want something so bad they get overcome. As a fellow dad, seeing him with his son is just ❤️
Bubba Wallace hasn’t won a Cup race in 3 minutes. #NASCAR

I’m so LOVING this 2:00pm start time for the Brickyard 400!! To those responsible, thank you!!
C is for Cookie and Challenge ... In-Season Challenge! Thanks for making your pick at @IMS, @MeCookieMonster!
The checkered flag for the Brickyard 400 is gone now because Cookie Monster ate it. What a disaster
"I have a big expectation to be an owner... I think that after my driving days are over, I'll still be around the sport. I'd love to be an owner in the sport." 20 years after this interview, JR Motorsports now has 100 wins in Xfinity
Here is what Richard Childress said after the race about #NASCAR penalizing Austin Hill 5 laps for reckless driving for incident with Aric Almirola in the Xfinity race at Indy.
The full-season format places a premium on excellence every week. If one team outpaces the rest, it’s on those remaining to get better. Playoffs allow teams to be just good enough. Want in-season drama? Award a million bucks to the leader at quarter points of the schedule.
The argument between full season points vs playoffs is basically "All 36 races should factor equally into judging a team's performance and deciding the year's best team" vs "Somebody might be too deserving of a championship and that would be boring for the rest of us."
With the creation of the "In-Season" challenge does NASCAR have its marketable mid-season excitement thing which could mean they finally release their grip on the failure that is racing "playoffs" Full-season points or bust 💪
Here's one for ya: I asked @chaseelliott about the topic of the week with the NASCAR championship format debate, and he endorsed full-season points. Chase: "We've had a really good and competitive battle to the regular season (championship) over -- correct me if I'm wrong -- the…
"If somebody runs away with [the championship], so what?" @chaseelliott told media he is all for having a full-season points format to decide a champion in #NASCAR. Presenting partner: @MyPlaceHotels
I've always found it so interesting that the year NASCAR decided to go away from the full season points format, both the Truck and Busch series had incredible 4 and 6 way title fights going into Homestead. Two awesome examples of barn burner, full season title fights.

Had my daughter watching 15 laps of the truck race, 2 months old but eyes glued to the screen and getting excited every time Chastain’s red truck came on screen
They said north wilkesboro was never coming back They said rockingham was never coming back They said we would never race ovals in wet conditions I heard many things they said will never be done in this sport.I truly believe a full season points is possible of returning someday
It's unlikely there would ever be a full season points championship.
Three different areas and all polls continue to show the majority wants a full season points system. @markmartin poll has probably a good amount of true race fans, but then @jeff_gluck has probably a good combination of true race fans, casual, and media people. Now then “the…
