Super accurate map. Montanans will be shocked to hear they only have a single congressional district.
THE ONLY STATES WITH INDEPENDENT REDISTRICTING ARE BLUE STATES.
KFF has become the health care policy mouthpiece for Democrats. Plain and simple.
In today's @Julie_appleby piece, KFF is described as "a national health information nonprofit." Paragon is described as a "conservative think tank." @Paragon_Inst has never and would never do anything like the overtly partisan piece at the top of KFF's homepage.
CMS found 2.8 million Americans enrolled in two or more Medicaid or ACA plans - wasting over $14 Billion in taxpayer funding! This is exactly why we fought for stronger tools in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. cms.gov/newsroom/press…

“Provider taxes are basically funding gimmicks and legalized money laundering that allow states to scheme federal taxpayers into footing the bill for bailouts to hospitals,” said Dublois. dailycaller.com/2025/07/16/dem…
As someone who interned in the VT Senate 10 years ago during Balint’s first term, I remember when she championed bipartisan priorities like tax credits for rural economic growth and land use reform for housing. Now, she’s aligned with the furthest extremes of her party. #vtpoli
Zohran Mamdani defied expectations and will be the next Mayor of New York. He ran an indomitable grassroots campaign with a policy platform that gives New Yorkers hope for the future. Grateful to connect with him and learn more about his transformative progressive vision.
“Those folks on welfare are just too dumb to fill out paperwork!”
We’ve seen this play out in the past few years. Eligible people lose coverage because the paperwork is complex and the government makes mistakes.
You know who else loses coverage at renewal periods? *Ineligible people*
What biased explainers like this one won’t tell you is that making people reapply every 6 months saves money because *eligible people* fall through the cracks and lose coverage.
The folks who assert it is impossible to implement Medicaid community-engagement requirements are unable to decide whether the individuals or the states are incompetent to report community engagement. Maybe they think it is both. The truth is, both can figure it out.
This is false.
This is false.
The problem with this is that, empirically, requiring that people document that they have a job to retain Medicaid tends to knock people off of Medicaid (even if they were working at the time).
As well they shouldn’t. Eligibility checks and work requirements are common sense reforms. And “hospital tax” changes don’t take effect until 2028.
The 92% figure is a mathematically impossible lie that Larry’s organization invented that has been debunked by individual-level earnings data on tens of millions of able-bodied adults maintained by state Medicaid agencies.
The 92% figure comes from our KFF analysis. kff.org/medicaid/issue…
It's weird you were quiet when we all knew Biden could neither beat Trump nor serve another term. And it's weird you're now loud when a 33 year-old with no management or executive experience, who favors "seizing the means of production" and opening government grocery stores to…
It's weird that a big tent Democratic party wouldn't include the guy who just handily won the Democratic primary in the city with the most Democratic voters in America. #votersmatter
