Just a child who loves horror movies.
If you're looking for new horror movies to watch, follow @HorrorCalendar and click that "turn on notifications" bell. Every single week I tweet out each day's new horror releases, with trailers and how/where to watch. New ORIGINAL HORROR every week. Spread the word!
Nobody told us about the Bloody Disgusting shout-out in I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER (2025) ahead of time, so that was a genuine surprise to everyone on our team. Surreal to see such high level recognition of what we've been working so hard at. Next year marks 25 YEARS of BD!

Today is your final chance to cast your votes for the 2025 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards! Don't let your favorite horror movies & performances face an untimely demise. Your vote can make all the difference! #ChainsawAwards #FANGORIA #HorrorAwards #Shudder
From a neutered inciting event to a final act that feels like fan fiction, I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER is more proof that horror franchises desperately need to move on. I suppose it's fitting that it's a bland Scream knockoff, but this type of legacy sequel hardly works here.

Well, my Killer Klowns collection is about to grow a whole lot bigger. To go along with the life-size Shorty and Slim animatronics from Spirit Halloween, Halloween Costumes is releasing Rudy and Spikey this year. I am powerless to stop these purchases.

It's so funny that this is how Hollywood works. "Hey Ari. So we loved Hereditary and Midsommar. Excellent stuff. We'd like to offer you... DR. MICHAEL MORBIUS."
Ari Aster reveals that he was asked to direct ‘MORBIUS’ but he declined. (Source: youtu.be/Q0Y_cmvKje0?si…)
Pedro Pascal is a good sport, but this kind of stuff continues to be embarrassing. Honestly, the whole junket interview routine is antiquated and seems to be increasingly unpleasant for everyone forced to take part. It doesn't really allow for meaningful conversation.
Jesus Christ, this entire #FantasticFour junket is going to be exhausting, isn’t it?

James Gunn's soul & sense of humor make #Superman soar. There's A LOT going on in the movie, but he never loses the emotional core & the reason to care about it all. A big beating heart of a summer blockbuster. David Corenswet is perfect. Loved the movie. Compassion is punk rock.

TOGETHER. “The perfect date night movie.” In theaters 7.30.
Dinosaurs in Vietnam?! The action-horror movie PRIMITIVE WAR will release in theaters August 21 from Fathom Entertainment. The film takes place during the Vietnam War in 1968. Dinosaurs have somehow been unleashed, and they're tearing their way through a search & rescue team.
The thing about M3GAN 2.0 is that it's a big budget B-movie, and definitely knows it. I actually think it's a clever evolution of the first. It's also overstuffed & too convoluted for its own good, but a silly good time all the same. I appreciate the big swing, genre shift & all.

Me before I watch a new Stranger Things trailer: "How has this show not ended yet? It's been so long. I'm not sure I even care anymore." Me after I watch a new Stranger Things trailer: "HOLY SHIT, LET'S GO, I LOVE THIS SHOW."
The final adventure begins now. Watch the new teaser trailer for STRANGER THINGS 5. The first four episodes premiere November 26, the next three episodes December 25, and the series finale on December 31.

I don't care what you think about Goldberg's career & legacy. Bringing him back for a big final match that he loses and then cutting off his farewell speech after mere seconds was a disrespectful way of bringing his career to an end. There's absolutely no other way to view it.
Goldberg says he’s pissed off at the way he went out: "Let's just say I'm pissed off at the way I went out. I put so much into it and I don't feel as though the effort was reciprocated to put a stamp on what I've accomplished.” (via @arielhelwani)
Thanks, James Gunn. But I'm still trying to figure out how to house train this raccoon you made me adopt.
‘SUPERMAN’ has led to a 513% increase in Google searches for “adopt a dog near me” (Source: thewrap.com/superman-2025-…)
Sid Haig was born on this day in 1939. From his early days in Spider Baby and Galaxy of Terror to his modern career resurgence playing Captain Spaulding in House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects, Haig was a one of a kind presence on screen and off. We miss you, Captain.
The secret is that when you build a big enough physical media collection, you live inside a video store. And there are no late fees.
You just had to be there
I'm still pretty surprised that Bring Her Back only made $22 million worldwide, especially being the second movie from a directing duo who made a big splash just two years ago with Talk to Me's nearly $100 million total. It's also one of the best horror movies of the year.
BRING HER BACK is now up for pre-order on 4K & Blu-ray from the A24 shop, and @A24 is teasing a "sinister" hidden treat in the menu screen... Special features include a commentary with the directors, deleted scene, in-depth making-of featurette, plus six collectible postcards.
ICK is fucking fun. If you just want to sit down and watch a crowd pleasing monster movie that's funny, thrilling, emotional, with a kick ass soundtrack I've got the film for you. In theaters July 27th 28th 29. Tickets: fathomentertainment.com/releases/ick/
Went to the movies and saw a trailer for ICK by @JosephKahn . Looks like a damn fun time. Definitely gonna be heading back to the theater for that.
I don't think movie theaters are dying the way a lot of people think but I definitely do think that decent movie theater etiquette took its last breath quite a bit ago. And I don't know that theater chains are ever going to crack down & risk losing even more customers. It's bad.
please respect the cinema.
