A whirlwind six days so far at @orkney2025 1 with three bikes races delivered this week, with two more to go before the ferry home. Thanks to the many 100s of folks that have donned orange t-shirts this week and played their part in the success of these games 🙌🏻

Great to meet the wonderful NHS staff at @NHSForthValley who deliver the Hospital at Home service. We’re expanding it to 2,000 beds across Scotland by the end of 2026 - meaning more patients treated at home, shorter waiting lists, and more space freed up in hospitals.

Falkirk cannot afford the blow of Alexander Dennis leaving the district so soon after PetroIneos shed 100s of jobs. Many of our routes have recently been taken over by electric buses manufactured in China, despite have a world class bus company on our doorstep.
In December, I raised concerns about the Scottish Government subsidising buses made in China at the expense of Scottish manufacturers like Alexander Dennis in Falkirk. The government must now get round the table with ADL and Scottish bus operators to save 400 jobs.
