Ultraseven (ウルトラセブン, 1967-1968) truly is a masterpiece. As someone who's only ever seen tokusatsu films, I am absolutely blown away by the emotional depth, groundbreaking special effects, directing, writing, just everything. A tokusatsu and kaiju must-watch.
Still trying to decide which sentai I should watch next...(I watched everything up to Ohranger)

Fun fact, the scenes depicting all those destruction around the world were stock footages from the Toho's movie from 1961 "The Last War". I found out about this when I watched the movie a while ago lol.
In a sense this is echoing Ultraseven's finale, but both depicts mass deaths with a sense of weight and fear.
