The EU, through @eu_echo 🇪🇺, remains a vital partner in addressing the urgent needs of Afghan returnees. With their support & that of other donors, IOM has provided essential post-arrival aid to over 84,000 undocumented returnees from Pakistan since the surge began in Apr 2025.
A joint team from @eu_echo 🇪🇺, IOM and partners visited reception and transit centers in Kandahar, where Afghan returnees from Pakistan are receiving much-needed health care, protection and other services. They toured the facilities and met with returnees.
