High temperatures will combine with high relative humidity values to create oppressive heat conditions through the middle of next week. An Extreme Heat Warning and Heat Advisory are in effect for all of central North Carolina from 11am today through 8pm Sunday. #NCwx
Another hot one on tap for the Outer Banks. (📍Duck #NCWX) #yestv #obx
That heat index will not be friendly the next few days. Indoors, or in a pool, are really the only pleasant places to be this weekend. Take care, and stay cool.

A few spotty downpours/storms are possible here and there this weekend, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Most of us stay hot and dry, and even for the folks that do get wet, relief will be temporary.

Alright, folks! 96 degrees. That's the number to beat. Our hottest high of 2025 so far. Think we can top it between now and next Wednesday? We'll see. (I hope not, for everyone's sake lol) #NCwx
