A physician for the end of the world as we know it.
When you consider the actual causes of poor mental health - child abuse, job insecurity, isolation - vs. the ‘causes’ postulated by psychiatrists - brain defects to be managed by drugs - you realize how pathetically inept they are at actually helping anyone.
Comparing debt-based fiat and Bitcoin: Fiat: Relies on perpetual debt expansion to pay prior obligations, eroding value via inflation (e.g., USD lost 99% since 1971). Ponzi-like as new money funds old without real backing, risking collapse sans growth. Bitcoin: Decentralized,…
'water is transparent only within a very narrow band of the electromagnetic spectrum, so living organisms evolved sensitivity to that band, and that's what we now call "visible light". ' (found via HN)
Parents are their child's first, best, and primary teachers. If you can read you can homeschool. If you can't read, you can learn to read, then you can homeschool.
I think the point is that very few parents are qualified to homeschool, and everyone will fall further behind.
Cells divide and when they do there is no nuclear membrane.
Here's the video I made when I realised I'd misunderstood what Grant Illingworth was asking:
Could psilocybin could become a monthly neurotropic at high doses and/or a near-daily neurotropic vitamin at low doses? So exciting for this to be further explored. Will the U.S. government fund research? I hope so! Read more about this study: nature.com/articles/s4151…

The theory now is that longer wavelengths of light specifically from sunlight restore membrane potential in your mitochondria, whereas shorter wavelengths of light (such as from LEDs) reduce it. This needs testing, but it’s intriguing & brings together a lot of data.
Very cool paper. “Longer wavelengths in sunlight pass through the human body and have a systemic impact which improves vision” I have known the senior author Glen Jeffery since the mid 90s and he’s always done very interesting work. Another beauty here. nature.com/articles/s4159…
NEW: Joe Rogan personally asks Gavin Newsom via text message who will be held accountable for mandating “unnecessary and ineffective” COVID vaccines on young children. “Who will be held accountable for mandating COVID-19 vaccines for children, which were unnecessary and…
Just two years ago, 30% of Democrats believed that children should be taken away from unvaccinated parents. Nearly 50% of Democrats believed that the unvaccinated should be sent to camps. These are not tolerant, kind people. This is what a totalitarian ideology looks like.
I still can’t believe I’ll really never have another infant of my own to cuddle again. It’s so over. Get one while you still can trust me on this.😭

Fantastic comment on a substack: “A lot of people are getting upset having their conduct during covid compared to Germans supporting the rise of Nazism. Let's recapitulate. A fifth of the population was legally classified as unclean. They were barred from most public spaces,…
Spoke with a woman in her 70s yesterday at a neighborhood picnic about birth and my pregnancy. She was in awe of the fact that I birth at home and don’t engage with the medical industrial complex. She was genuinely curious and totally unjudgemental. She herself recounted her…
we need to start treating fragrances like second hand smoke i'd rather smell someone's cigarettes than their toxic dior cologne or air freshener. they're filled with 500+ novel synthetic chemicals that ruin hormones.
Good afternoon; you are in a war being waged against you using your own beliefs and feelings as weapons. You watch a video. You get a feeling. You express a belief. You didn't know the video was made by someone trying to kill you. You didn't know the belief was engineered to…

Very interesting (though difficult to listen to at times). I am surprised to see a psychiatrist seemingly saying that "clearly" the DSM is highly valid, biomarkers for mental illness work, antidepressants reduce suicide, ...
The most infuriating part of this interview was that after repeatedly stating the data is clear and there is no debate on SSRI's and the "chemical imbalance theory of depression" he later agreed that the research he relies upon to draw conclusions is systemically biased, flawed…
