Ukrainians are protesting Zelenskyy, but it has nothing to do with ending the war or any peace deals. They know Putin is still the problem. This is over domestic politics. Ukrainians share their opinions openly in their democracy. Don't worry, they'd never accept a dictator.
Huge protests erupt in Kyiv against Ukrainian President Zelensky as he is a dictator and refuses to make a peace deal and end the war. Good for the Ukrainian people! Throw him out of office! And America must STOP funding and sending weapons!!!
Whether it’s due to political sloppiness or political targeting, the damage to Ukraine’s national unity today is entirely self-inflicted by Zelenskyy’s government. Guaranteeing the independence of anticorruption agencies is a matter of democracy and national security for Ukraine.
Just a few days ago Ukrainians were assuring me that whatever complaints they had about Zelensky, they understood the need for a united front in wartime. Now it's unclear whether Zelensky can still count on national unity—a scenario the Kremlin has long been hoping for.
I don’t know if you read Time magazine, but this cover made me stop and share. It comes with an investigation into the mass abduction and forced displacement of Ukrainian children by russian forces. I’m grateful this story is getting the attention it deserves.
🇩🇪 is leading the way in an orchestrated attempt to openly criticize Zelenskyy for attacking the anti-corruption institutions. But criticism isn’t enough. The message ought to be that progress with EU accession and non military funding depends on repealing the controversial law.
Limiting the independence of Ukraine’s anti-corruption agency hampers #Ukraine’s way towards the EU. I expect 🇺🇦 to continue with determination its efforts in combating corruption. That’s why I also met with the heads of #NABU & #SAPO during my visit to Kyiv. @AussenMinDE
I stand with Ukrainians, who have shown that they will not abide tyranny, whether it comes from without or within. Zelensky made a mistake today. He will pay the price when elections come. But Ukrainians will not thank us if we use this as an excuse to abandon their defense.
‼️Over the past 48 hours, the Zelenskyy administration has swiftly moved to dismantle the country's independent anti-corruption institutions. I break down how it all happened for @AtlanticCouncil and what these steps mean for Ukraine's future. atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainea…

White House @PressSec says President Trump is continuing to work “aggressively” to end Russia's war against Ukraine. “Now we need to see real sanctions on Russia ASAP, and Ukraine needs the necessary tools to fight back,” @DougKlain told Kyiv Post. kyivpost.com/post/56714

🧵 Americans will finally learn the truth about how in 2016, intelligence was politicized and weaponized by the most powerful people in the Obama Administration to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President @realDonaldTrump, subverting the…

It’s good to remember that with Trump, being “up” rarely lasts long. Thankfully Ukraine has been working hard this year to increase its self-sufficiency and forge reliable partnerships with countries like Denmark investing in its defense.
Witkoff down, Kellogg and Rubio up, per the Telegraph:
I mean come on, @CBS is really claiming it’s cancelling the decades-long flagship Late Show as a “financial decision?” You couldn’t fool a fifth-grader with that.

Can’t believe @colbertlateshow just got cancelled. I remember excitedly watching the premier while a freshman in college and I’ve been a fan ever since. It’d be a supreme disgrace to viewers, satire, and free speech if this is @CBS caving to political pressure.

BREAKING 🚨 @RepMTG’s amendment to abandon Ukraine was DEFEATED. Watch here as @BettyMcCollum04 & @KenCalvert team up for a bipartisan rebuke of MTG. Thank you Congressman Calvert and Congresswoman McCollum for standing up for what Americans ACTUALLY believe!
