#Sudan: We are ratcheting up pressure on conflict parties SAF & RSF with the 4th sanctions package against those responsible for mass atrocities. Both sides must stop fighting, protect civilians & facilitate humanitarian aid. Sudan needs a political process & lasting ceasefire.

I join the EU in welcoming the declaration signed in Doha between the #DRC and AFC/M23 as an important step towards a durable peace accord. I applaud #Qatar for its mediation role. Implementation in good faith including by regional actors is now key.

The assaults on civilians in #Suweida must be fully investigated. The Syrian government has a duty to ensure a peaceful and inclusive political transition. This was emphasized by @AussenMinDE and @jnbarrot in their call with @AsaadHShaibani today.
The repatriation operation to Afghanistan was conducted in close cooperation with the State of Qatar, which served as a facilitator. Qatar is a reliable and strategic partner in the region – in this endeavor and beyond. I am grateful to HH the Amir for the valuable support.
We stand in solidarity with the United Kingdom in its attribution of malicious cyber activities to Russian military intelligence GRU. Germany has also been a target of similar activities. For our collective peace & security in cyberspace threat actors must be held accountable.
Russian military intelligence routinely uses cyber and information operations to sow chaos, division and disorder in Ukraine and across the world. Today, the UK is exposing this activity and sanctioning those responsible ⬇️

#Sudan: Hundreds of civilians have reportedly been massacred by RSF militia, villages sacked, houses burnt to the ground. We condemn this abhorrent violence & urge both conflict parties to protect civilians & stop hostilities. All actors must work towards resuming negotiations.
