"America's greatest strength is the ability to present its interests as a universal value". Once you understand this, everything else about US policy becomes clear.
Multipolarity often highlights the internecine battle for Europe between the Atlanticists, who think the EU is best served by aligning with US strategic interests, and the Autonomists, who want the EU to pursue its own, independent strategy. But why is there such a battle? 1/n
Clutching at straws. The ICJ advisory opinion on the issue of the declaration of independence has no bearing on the legal status of #Kosovo as a contested territory. The separatists could ask the ICJ for a binding adjudication on legal status but they know that they would lose.
15 years ago today, UN's International Court of Justice found that Kosovo's declaration of independence did not violate international law or UNSC resolution 1244. Serbia itself had brought the case regarding 🇽🇰 declaration of independence to the ICJ.
The independence of #Kosovo, as engineered by its US and EU sponsors, is built on the murder and expulsion of the Kosovo Serb community. The Serb victims of the Staro Gracko massacre are crying out for justice. 👇
🙏 On this day 26 years ago, 14 harvesters were massacred in the Kosovo* village of Staro Gracko near Lipljan. The youngest was only 17 years old... Their names were Milovan, Jovica, Rade, Andrija, Slobodan, Mile, Novica, Momir, Stanimir, Boško, Saša, Ljubiša, Nikola and Miodrag.…

MPT izvodi Čavoglave uz Sieg Heil. A stihovi idu: Za dom braco, zovemo se Poglavnikovi… Oj ustase, braco mila… Naravno to je sve neka “druga konotacija” 🤡
This is a map of the extermination and concentration camps in Yugoslavia. The Ustaše regime operated 40 of them, including 9 specifically for Serbian children. The remaining 30 were run by the Italians and the Germans.
You should always read a document beforehand and understand its contents before signing it. And Trump being a d*** in humiliating a visiting head of state by seating him at the kids table and embarrassing him in front of the press.
President of Serbia realizes he didn't read properly what he signed
To be honest, I am surprised he made it to 76 years old. RIP.
Ozzy Forever!
I dislike the intellectual dishonesty of Serbia's human rights activists. They omit the "elephant in the room" - the current predominance of Albanians in #Kosovo is the product of the displacement / expulsion of the Serb community from Kosovo. But they pretend that it isn't.
On this day in 1974, Turkey 🇹🇷 launched a full-scale military invasion of Cyprus 🇨🇾 seizing over 36% of the island. Today we remember 4000 Greek Cypriots who were murdered, 200 000 cleansed from their homes. Turkey was never sanctioned. No justice. No consequences.
"Dardania". Where Serbian Cyrillic was all the vogue...
Ах та историја
When you review the last 30 years (globalisation, Y2K, dotcom bust, war on terror, GFC, social media, culture wars, cryptocurrency, mandatory COVID vaccinations, etc.) it doesn't sound so crazy anymore...
We were warned in 1996. I wish we had listened. But everyone called these people conspiracy theorists.
This doesn't make sense. Serbia has high unemployment, with youth unemployment > 20%. Why would they need to issue 100k foreign worker permits?
NEW - Serbia’s Foreign Minister indicates a plan, to address its ageing population, with a “labor mobility agreement” issuing 100,000 work permits, with Ghana’s Foreign Minister aiming to send “thousands of our young people to work in Serbia.”
Tito looks over workers on a break at the Yugo car assembly plant in Kragujevac, 1980.
Remember when they were telling us that the Assad regime was the problem in Syria?
Druze are under attack by Syrian government forces and its proxies, and under Jolani, all of Syria's minorities are at risk. We spoke to Druze, Alawites, Christians, and a survivor of the Mar Elias church bombing. Please watch our full video on YouTube: youtu.be/o8YRtDaBVpE
25 years ago, the medieval Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Ilija ☦️ in Pomazatin near Kosovo Polje was razed to the ground by Albanians 🇦🇱 First burnt down, the shrine was later destroyed by mines, all under the gaze of NATO/UN 🇺🇳 forces in occupied Kosovo-Metohija 🇷🇸 1/2 ⬇️
We see this revisionist argument being pushed over and over in recent years. The Central Powers (A-H, Germany) were primarily responsible for WW1 - there is plenty of excellent scholarly work on this subject (Herwig, Fischer, Geiss, Fromkin, Mombauer, Wawro, Dedijer).
how could Austria just retaliate for the murder of the heir to their throne. Serbia and Russia are responsible for WW1 and its escalation. Austria-Hungary was in the right.
