On this day in 1974, Turkey 🇹🇷 launched a full-scale military invasion of Cyprus 🇨🇾 seizing over 36% of the island. Today we remember 4000 Greek Cypriots who were murdered, 200 000 cleansed from their homes. Turkey was never sanctioned. No justice. No consequences.
