The SBC Cooperative Program is amazing. It gives Baptist theologians the chance to write … (checks notes) … Anglican Dogmatics 😕

For those outside the SBC trying to understand why Southern Baptists are upset w/ the departure of a seminary professor. Here’s the rub in 2 points: 1. We don’t hate Anglicans. We love Ryle, Packer, etc 2. We can’t tolerate ingrates who throw stones as they leave That’s all.
The ratio of the comments here is quite encouraging. Let's get together next June and abolish the ERLC. Be there, bring friends, BE IN THE ROOM, and vote.
The ERLC has never supported amnesty and never will. The ERLC has consistently advocated for policies that reflect the will of SBC messengers who have, for over a decade, supported strong border security and other measures, including a pathway to legal status for those willing…
Every March @Christ_OverAll addresses matters in the SBC. Maybe we need to consider why denominational dollars are used to undermine our faith and practice. 🤦🏻♂️
Why is the Southern Baptist Convention GIVING GRANTS to noted feminist and egalitarian Beth Allison Barr to write anti-complementarian books that bash their own denomination and beliefs? 🧵
Trust has gone from broken to broker, if that is possible.
Just nine months ago, @ERLC staff promised that they would always ask these seven questions before taking actions. All seven of these questions counseled against signing this letter. But EIT called, and the letter was signed.
The first rule of amnesty is don’t call it amnesty.

I’ve had plenty to say about the @ERLC. Now this. This organization must cut ties with the Evangelical Immigration Table. The EIT is (and has for years been) a front for activists who’ve championed reckless immigration policies—policies that have directly contributed to the chaos…
It is embarrassing that the ERLC assumes the mantle of SBC spokesperson, when in fact 43% of the convention voted to shutter them.
ERLC = Lobbying arm of the Southern Baptist Convention (largest Protestant denomination in the U.S.) They're the ones who tried to keep the writings of the trans school shooter private & fought for red flag laws afterward Now they're for Maria Salazar's "Dignity" amnesty bill
“Religious organizations”?😳 cc: @megbasham
O M G "High-level DNC emails detailed evidence of Hillary Clinton's 'psycho, emotional problems, uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, & cheerfulness.' Secretary Clinton was allegedly on a daily regimen of heavy tranquilizers."
Chapter 1 and Chapter 8 of the 1689 Baptist Confession are some of the strongest Trinitarian and Christological statements in all of Christendom. A Reformed Baptist church is the perfect home for the classical Trinitarian.
All month long, @Christ_OverAll has been celebrating the Nicene Creed. We want you to know, embracing Classical Trinitarianism does not need to make one abandon their Baptist convictions or confessions. Check out more than a dozen essays and podcasts 👇
My dear friend @PereiraMichaelJ has written an excellent essay on the necessity of the virgin birth for us and our salvation; and the fittingness of Mary's title "Theotokos" ("God bearer/mother of God) as the mother of God the Son incarnate. Tolle, lege⬇️
"The virgin birth was essential for the eternal Son of God to become flesh so that he might be our Savior and the incarnation of the Son demands that Mary be rightfully called 'Mother of God.'" ~@PereiraMichaelJ christoverall.com/article/concis…
Can Thomistic Baptists hold steady for the long haul?
Can Thomistic Baptists hold steady for the long haul?
Hear me out . . . Southern Baptist professors who are actually Southern Baptist.
It would be one thing if the messengers had endorsed a bill. But they didn't. Why we'd let EIT decide which bills Baptists were talking about in our resolutions is a mystery.
The @ERLC is getting a head start on another vote for their dissolution in 2026. For whatever reason, @LeatherwoodERLC can’t help but to endorse controversial bills.
My colleague @SpencerLndqst is reporting on Soros-tied backing for a bill to give amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. Also supporting this bill, the @ERLC, as part of its partnership with the Soros-backed Evangelical Immigration Table. They have signed an open letter…
