Attending the @ADFLegal Summit was one of the most enjoyable and edifying events I’ve been to in awhile. It’s always a blessing to connect with God’s people doing God’s work — especially in arenas you didn’t know existed before!
Participating in @ADFLegal’s Summit last week was enjoyable on numerous accounts...One of which was bumping into @EricTeetsel, @andrewtwalk, @colinsmo, @DennyBurk, and @DavidSchrock. These guys are doing an amazing job in bringing intellectual weight to public theology/policy.…
I’m so thankful for the strictures and safeguards that come with an Episcopal and Anglican authority structure. One could never imagine such rigid authority structures falling into unrepentant sin…right?

No, Southern Baptists Have Not “Officially Rejected” the Nicene Creed - Reports of our theological demise have been greatly exaggerated. dennyburk.com/no-southern-ba…
Bearing false witness is not a good way to start a career in Anglicanism (or in any church for that matter). Contrary to what Barrett claims here, Southern Baptists have not rejected the Nicene Creed. We just adopted a resolution reaffirming it last month.…
Ingratitude is the mother of vice.
Took all of five seconds for Barrett to go on the offensive against Southern Baptists, who have been paying his salary for the last decade plus. Don’t let the door hit you on your way out, Matt. matthewbarrett.substack.com/p/i-am-leaving…
It is interesting to learn from former Southern Baptist theologians that Southern Baptists are averse to the Nicene Creed, especially since we identified ourselves with it in a resolution just this year.

These guys have hardly been in favor of enforcing our *current* confession of faith, the BFM2K. What makes them think adding the Nicene Creed will make the SBC *more* confessional?

Only a highly educated liberal would agree.

It’s good to be reminded of just how hard they tried to gaslight us and who was committed to the bit.
A year ago today, President Biden’s disastrous debate performance ended his re-election campaign and exposed the largest political cover-up in U.S. history. As House Republicans investigate the scandal to bring accountability, the American people should never forget how far…
What a wholesome ad. Family life is invaluable. Ordinary dads are just as blessed as Scottie.
I feel the pendulum swinging... Good job, @Nike.
Also, 1 Peter 3 and Colossians 3 are still the Bible. Can’t unhitch from these verses, @AndyStanley.
Sorry to be a broken record on this, but the simple reason the verb doesn’t appear in two of our earliest manuscripts (P46, 03) is because it was accidentally omitted through a common scribal error known as homoioteleuton. academia.edu/51512213/The_T…
