These pew cards continue to be one of my favorite things we've ever done.

A few notes on paedobaptism from Acts 2: Acts 2 is a pivotal passage in baptism debates because it’s the first time the apostles preach the gospel in the new covenant age and perform new covenant baptisms. Note that Peter is preaching specifically to the men (2:14, 29). Just as…
Step 1: Plan to do a Book Study in your Church, and set it up to last for a Quarter. Twelve weeks. Decide you'll make it work, no matter how many chapters the book has. Step 2: Realize how many books in the Christian publishing world have 12 chapters 🤣
Counterpoint: it’s good to publicly shame men who destroy their families, and women who wreck other people’s families
“Forget about how this impacts people like the CEO and his mistress, garden-variety sinners who, through a combination of terrible luck and atrocious judgment, will be famous, and hated, for the rest of their lives. You don’t have to feel sorry for them (although I admit, I kind…

When you ask a question the Bible already raises, reject the answer the Bible already gives, and then try to make it a twisty philosophical problem, then forgive me for not considering you a stalwart apologist for the Christian faith.
Why Did God Create People He Knew Would Reject Him?

If you think private devotions are more important than corporate worship, you are more Gnostic than Christian.
Yep. And when this realization impacts your preaching, it will be a shake up.
This is not meant to be a hot take, but in my experience, antinomianism is much more common in the Reformed world than legalism. The concept of "evangelical obedience" scares us. Many seem to want to ignore the fact that there are over 1k imperatives in the NT.
In pastoral work, as with any work, you can put the work first, or you can put your family first. There are serious risks and consequences to either choice. So pick your risks and consequences.
