Severe storms on July 20th left this hail scar that began about 8-10 miles southwest of Belfield and extended east southeast to just south of the Dickinson Airport, then southeast to around 15 miles north of Mott. The length of this hail scar was approximately 42 miles. #NDwx
Dug some plants from our soybean inoculation trial in Dickinson, ND today. Healthy-looking nodules here. This plot was double inoculated with a granular source in soybean virgin ground. Will that translate into higher yields? We’ll find out soon Research supported by @NDSoybean

Early-season #frost nicked some young #corn seedlings in SW ND. While the leaf damage looks bad, the growing point is still below ground and likely unharmed at this stage. If it's white/creamy and new leaves emerge soon, yld penalties are unlikely. 🌽❄️ #NDSUExtension #cropwatch
