This is a satellite view of one 1/4 that has sloughs I'd like to deal with. The 3 sloughs circled are dry by June but are full with spring runoff. Are we allowed to move dirt from hilltops to fill sloughs? Or would I be stuck pumping? New to water management and drainage.

Anyone in need of a JD single point conversion for an older header. Made by Lankota. Lost in the shelves for a few years. Pay the freight and it’s yours if you want it.
Any chance this is caused by Buctril M drift? It was very dry and hot as it was heading out. The second pic is from 2 weeks after the Buctril M was sprayed beside

A flax field in full flower. About the only reason I would consider growing it. 😎

Can you bring parts across the border from the US if it isn't your name on the invoice?

This pic is from June 29, and that field is still yellower than that on July 22. It's been a long time since we've had canola flower for 3+ weeks.

Does anyone else with have peas like this? They had been under severe drought conditions. The top multiple nodes are squished into an inch and now with a bit of moisture they are beginning to regrow, the bottom pods are starting to shell out. #peas #drought25
I definitely hadn't written things off, but things have made a total 180° flip in the past 10 days

Thunderbolt soap for the win. No brushing, no residue. Just a clean wash every time.

Has anyone here traded land with a neighbor? Talking 1/4 for a 1/4, not 1000 ac for 1000 ac. Have a couple 1/4's scattered over a 4 mile area that touch with the same neighbor, and was thinking why not offer to swap 1-2 quarters and make 1/2's for both of us? Thoughts?

Thankful for the 6/10" that came this evening. The wheat may not be tall, but somehow it's hung on and is starting to fill the kernels.

The barley is not appreciating the drought and heat we've experienced thus far.

If anybody close to me is looking for some straw/feed ish stuff. I know it’s a dry year. And we could easily drop our ryegrass straw. Obviously wouldn’t be free. But it is available if anybody wants it. I know @kurt_shmon @imperialseed_cc @imperialseed_as can answer any questions…
So much for trying to plan ahead. Now I get to eat my words and try and undo what I did. 😔
A big shout out to all the ranchers I've hauled bales over the past 10 years, but I've decided to hang up the bale racks and move onto greener pastures. My brother and I will focusing solely on our farming and the grain hauling side of our trucking company.
So the label on Matador/cyhalothrin-lambda is to avoid spraying "in the heat of the day". What constitutes as that? Do I need to be shutting down by 25-27 C, or sooner, or later, or???? Going after cabbage seed pod weevils in canola and its supposed to hit 34C tomorrow.
