Don’t be fooled. Governor Abbott wants to replace 1 STAAR test with THREE high-stakes tests PER YEAR created & manipulated by his commissioner. This scheme should never see the light of day. We will never be truly free of the testing insanity as long as Gov. Abbott is governor.
During the Special Session beginning Monday, Legislators have the opportunity to END the STAAR test in public schools. Do it.
