I attended Leander’s vigil honoring the lives lost & forever changed by the Sandy Creek floods. My prayers are with every family, friend, volunteer & first responder. Travis Co’s top priority is providing families with resources to rebuild with dignity and a strong foundation.

🚨 Be weather aware! .@NWSSanAntonio has issued a Flood Watch for Travis County until 9 p.m. tonight (7/14). Locally heavy rainfall could lead to flash flooding. Enable emergency notifications on your phone and never drive/walk through floodwaters!
It’s important to report any storm damages you incurred. Do so at damage.tdem.texas.gov as soon as you’re able!
The new low water crossing at Big Sandy Creek is now OPEN! We are grateful for the team that worked through the rain to restore safe crossing access for the neighbors impacted.
