My little poetry pamphlet ‘Biology Matters’ is no longer available for purchase. Thanks to everyone who supported it over the last three years. This poem ‘Heart’ - in three parts - sums up my position on what are some of the most divisive issues of our times. Unity and diversity:

Answer this question @grok - what Irish politicians, poets, and academics have blocked me?
🇮🇪 Ireland is having its legal awakening moment. Burke wins at the Court of Appeal. Gript takes the Press Council to court. Two cases, one message: The days of silencing dissent through institutional capture are numbered. Here's why this matters 🧵

The moving statues phenomenon in Ireland during the summer of 1985 was my first real experience of social contagion. I was ten years old and it was WILD - masses of grown adults in Ireland believed that statues were moving independent.ie/news/i-had-fai…
To refuse or fail to use preferred pronouns in Ireland is anathema. It means being cast as hateful, a bigot, worthy of excoriation and ostracisation. Using preferred pronouns is considered ‘nice’, ‘kind’, ‘inclusive’. Even Brendan O’Connor, on @RadioBrendanRTE - in an attempt…
Enoch Burke was used as a scapegoat in Ireland. He was effectively cast out from not just his job but from ‘respected’ society. His scapegoating on the topic of genderism strengthened the gender identity movement and swelled their ranks. Even people who had previously been wary…

Trust in mainstream media has never been lower, but the management class has decreed that violent and sexual crimes committed by men must be reported as female crimes if that's how the perpetrators identify. A strategy that's sure to rebuild credibility. bbc.com/news/articles/…
“Psychologically unhealthy people are usually healthy fanatics. They are constantly looking for the right food and drink, do not smoke or drink wine, they need a lot of salts and are obsessed with pharmacies. Always with new inventions, but never healthy to the end. Indeed, the…
