These bus stops have long struck me as fundamentally unsafe.

Saddened to hear of the death of the man who was taken into hospital after being stabbed at an address in Laitwood Road yesterday. The thoughts of me and @LynseyHedges are with his family as police continue to investigate this tragic incident.

Good to be at @Better_Balham library this morning for my councillor surgery. Residents have dropped in to raise concerns concerns about rubbish on our streets 🗑️, uneven road surfaces 🛣️ and late night noise 😖.

This is one of most regular complaints me and @LynseyHedges receive. Residents are rightly angry at constant random closures of #ClaphamSouth tube at peak times. It’s important @TfL remedies their endemic staff resourcing problems and provides the tube services residents need.

More complaints today about #ClaphamSouth tube station being closed due to staff shortages. Frequent closure not only impacts commuters but also local businesses who rely on the footfall. @CllrDanHamilton and I continue to lobby and hold @TfL to account.

🚴 Wandsworth Council are currently consulting on installing new bike hangers at locations on Alderbrook, Blandfield, Calbourne, Gaskarth, Lynn, Sistova & Yukon Roads. What do you think? 🗣️ If you’ve go any comments on these proposals, email [email protected].
