Representing residents at last night’s Planning Applications Committee. Sadly, not the result we’d hoped for but being there to speak up and ensure residents’ voices are heard remains vital.

Finally got to see Sir David Attenborough’s OCEAN. Having grown up by the sea, I know how vital our ocean is to all life. A powerful and stark reminder of what’s at stake if we fail to protect our seas and marine life. 🌊

Out on the doorstep in #Balham & #ClaphamSouth listening to residents. Over the past 3 years, services have declined under Labour – missed bin collections, dirty streets, and more dog mess. Taxpayers deserve better. 👎🗑️🚫

The Balham Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) held a community engagement event on Mayford Rd earlier this week. Joined by Councillor Hedges, they spoke with residents from Calbourne, Fernside & Gosberton Roads, who raised concerns about car and parcel thefts, as well as bike crime.

Over the past 3 years, residents have contacted me about unsightly old @bt_uk phone boxes in #Balham & #ClaphamSouth. Some have been removed, but too many remain. I’ve raised this with the Council - they’re pressing BT, but powers are limited. I’ll keep pushing for updates. 📞🚫
