Thank you for the post on Dum & Dogloitch woods . I have taken it upon myself to email Kirklees council . I have asked them to find it in their hearts to oppose this felling of these this ancient woodlands .

An excellent thread on CoE's latest plan to fell trees in 2 Ancient Woodlands which just happen to be surrounded by their huge development application. 2 oaks 120+ yr old already felled (despite refusal from council) and a suspected bat roost for good measure! Please share!

More. ancient woodland and trees felled , UK has destroyed a large percentage of woodland, habitat to many wildlife . This is devastating to wildlife , forests brings tranquility to the soul as well. UK is turning into a concrete jungle . So much concrete and no greenery 😡
